Riders In The Sky is the seventh studio album by American Christian rock band David and the giants. It was released in late 1983 under Priority Records, who also released their previous self-titled album.
The album was well received by fans, including many songs that would later become staples such as "Step By Step", "King Of The Jews" and "Jesus Is The Only Superstar". The album released two singles, both of which failed to reach high on the charts, however it did attract attention.
Like their previous album, this album also contains unique album cover design. The previous had a picture of a giant lying on the ground with a slingshot lying beside him, referencing David and Goliath. This album shows a picture of the band members pixelated and shown as black and white, with the name written at the bottom in longhand. The album cover from the previous album can be seen at the top; however it is hard to see.
The song "Look At The People" had been released on Heaven Or Hell in 1981 as "Look", however the name was changed. "I'm A Fanatic" was released on that album as well. The song "Glory Hallelujah" was released on their debut album, Song of Songs.
